AUFGABEN MIT IMPACT

• Innerhalb unserer bestehenden Snowflake-Lakehouse-Plattform arbeitest du an klar definierten Datenprodukt-Tasks und bringst dich aktiv in den Entwicklungsprozess ein
• DBT-Modelle baust du nach bestehenden Templates, schreibst einfache SQL-Transformationen und arbeitest innerhalb unserer etablierten Projektstruktur
• Bestehende DataVault-Entities erweiterst du nach Vorlage – zum Beispiel durch das Hinzufügen neuer Satellite-Attribute – und lernst dabei Schritt für Schritt die Konzepte von Hub, Link und Satellite kennen
• Schema-Tests in DBT pflegst und erweiterst du, verstehst Source Freshness und meldest Datenqualitätsprobleme strukturiert ans Team
• Bestehende Dokumentation – darunter Attributbeschreibungen und Quellfeld-Mappings – pflegst du gewissenhaft und kommentierst eigene Modelle nach vorgegebenen Standards
• In Sprint-Zeremonien bringst du dich aktiv ein, bearbeitest klar abgegrenzte Tasks zuverlässig und fragst proaktiv nach, wenn Klärungsbedarf besteht
• In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Senior Engineers, Analytics Engineers und dem Product Owner lernst du die relevanten Quellsysteme – SAP, E-Commerce und CRM – auf konzeptioneller Ebene kennen

DEINE SKILLS

• Erste praktische Erfahrung im Bereich Data Engineering oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Disziplin bringst du mit – zum Beispiel aus dem Studium, einer Ausbildung oder einem Praktikum
• Grundlegende SQL-Kenntnisse sind vorhanden; erste Berührungspunkte mit DBT oder ähnlichen Transformations-Frameworks sind ein willkommenes Plus
• Python-Grundkenntnisse für Datenverarbeitung oder Automatisierung bringst du mit und möchtest diese im Arbeitsalltag weiter ausbauen
• Konzeptionelles Verständnis für Datenmodellierung – zum Beispiel DataVault- oder Kimball-Prinzipien – ist vorhanden oder du bist motiviert, es dir strukturiert anzueignen
• Mit versionsbasierten Workflows wie Git, Pull Requests und Code Reviews hast du erste Erfahrungen gesammelt oder bist bereit, dich darin einzuarbeiten
• Aufgaben gehst du strukturiert an, aktualisierst deinen Ticket-Status zuverlässig und kommunizierst offen, wenn du fachliche Orientierung benötigst
• Auf Deutsch und Englisch kommunizierst du sicher – schriftlich wie mündlich
