TASKS WITH IMPACT

• Strategic supplier and contract management
• Preparation, organization, execution, and follow-up of international terms negotiations
• Analysis of suppliers and brands in terms of strategic relevance, growth, and margin potential
• Supplier evaluation based on defined KPIs (revenue, profit, delivery quality, innovative strength, etc.)
• Simulation of growth scenarios and derivation of actionable recommendations
• Development of distribution strategies for new suppliers and brands within the category and assortment strategy
• Tracking of target achievement (volumes, revenues, bonuses)
• Continuous and systematic alignment across the Douglas country organizations

YOUR SKILLS

Alongside these competencies, we’re looking for the following skills:

• A successfully completed degree in economics or business, ideally with a focus on retail
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing or sales at an internationally operating company in the consumer goods, luxury goods, or retail sector
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Confident handling of – and a passion for – complex databases
• Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, preferably with SAP experience
• A flexible, independent, and structured way of working, paired with professional communication skills
• The ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional teams with an intercultural mindset
• Excellent written and spoken English; command of additional languages is an advantage
